September 22, 2024 – In Sanskrit, the word for autumn is Sharad Ritu. In Ayurveda, autumn is also known as the Vāta season, which is characterized by the following qualities:

The Sanskrit word for wind, which is cool, dry, light, brittle, and constantly moving and changing.
Ritusandhi
The autumnal equinox, which is the junction of two seasons and a time to prepare for the new season .
