January packs A PUNCH with intense energy!

The first half of the month a Stellium of planets will be in Sagittarius. Mars, Venus, the Sun and Mercury, will be aspecting the Full Moon on January 3. Sagittarius rules Dharma, which is duty, righteousness, and higher purpose. This special alignment helps us to hone in on our purpose, our special mission on Earth.

By the middle of January, we will l have a Stellium of these same planets: Mars, Venus, Sun, Mars, Mercury –and Pluto in Capricorn which will be aspecting the New Moon January 18! Capricorn represents ambition, karma, responsibility, and government. Expect global changes.

January 3: Full Moon in Gemini in the Nakshatra Ardra
Gemini is about communications and this Full Moon has the potential energy of changing belief systems, letting go of old outdated patterns. This powerful Full Moon will help you release what no longer serves you. The Nakshatra Ardra is represented by the tear drop and ruled by the Storm God Rudra. Heightened emotions and sensitivity, a desire to speak your truth when you have been holding back, clarity, sudden insights and emotional breakthroughs. Not a Full Moon to put your crystals out.

January 9: Mars, Venus and Sun in Sagittarius at 25 degrees and at the same degree Opposing Jupiter in Gemini at 25 degrees

Today expect passion and emotions running high around the world. Sagittarius is justice and truth. Mars is war and Venus is peace. The Sun represents leaders. Jupiter may help take the edge off.

January 12: –February 5: Venus transits into Capricorn
Venus is friendly in Capricorn which represents karmic influences. This may be a time when people come into your life that you have known in previous lives. Family connections will be important during this time.

January 14-February 12: Sun in Capricorn
The Sun does not do as well in Capricorn and it makes the Sun a bit weak and serious. Practicality and direction for spiritual work and education lead thus time.

January 16-February 22: Mars in Capricorn
Mars is exalted in Capricorn making Mars extremely powerful, disciplined and strategic. Think courage, responsibility and action!

January 16—February 3: Mercury in Capricorn
Mercury in Capricorn is more serious, practical and looks at focusing on ambitions. This is good for long-term goals. There is a pragmatic feel to this time.

January 18: New Moon in Capricorn in Nakshatra Uttara Ashadha
The Stellium left Sagittarius and is now entering Capricorn with Mars, Venus, the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, and Pluto. Heavy duty energy! This can bring major shifts in governments globally since Capricorn rules governments. Nakshatra Uttara Ashadha means “Latter Victory” and is ruled by the Sun. Its symbol is an elephant’s tusk, representing strength, leadership, and endurance.

January 20: Saturn in Pisces aspects Uranus in Taurus at 3 degrees This can bring protests and anger. Sudden unexpected events including earthquakes.
