Transformation!
July is a very powerful and intense month! Lots of activity including major planetary shifts with Saturn, Neptune and Mercury Retrograde, Jupiter remaining Combust, Mars still closely Conjunct Ketu and exact Conjunction, and a YOD, a rare aspect called the Finger of God. All of these planetary shifts guide us into major change and transformation.
June 24-August 12: Jupiter in Gemini Enters the Powerful Nakshatra Ardra
Ardra means teardrop and is ruled by the deity Rudra, the deity that rules storms. This is a powerful Nakshatra which activates deep transformation. Time to seek your truth, reflecting inward. Long term goals can come together aligned with your soul’s purpose. The intense energy represents change, destruction, and transformation. Expect emotional awakenings, breakthroughs and spiritual growth!
July 4—December 10: Neptune Retrograde in Pisces
The first few days as Neptune stations– before it retrogrades—is a very powerful time. Neptune rules water, and oil, tsunamis. Neptune represents our dreams so keep a dream journal as this is a time of greater awareness. Time for great emotional releases which brings a fundamental change in self-understanding. Retrogrades bring back issues for us to look at and heal. Compassion is the key.
****Saturn and Neptune Conjunction in Pisces until February 2026 in the Nakstratra Uttara Bhadrapad, which deals with sorrow and sadness. Saturn brings reality and Neptune brings fantasy. Time to look at what really is going on instead of what you are wanting to see. This conjunction can bring explosions, earthquakes, tsunamis.
July 10: Full Moon in Sagittarius in the Nakshatra Purva Ashada – This is an intense Full Moon that brings heightened emotions! Purva Ashada means DECLARATIONS OF WAR. Sagittarius wants justice. Not a time to put crystals out for clearing.
July 13 – October 18, 2025: Saturn Retrograde in Pisces
Retrograde appears to be moving backwards—it is SLOWER compared to earth’s motion. This means the retrograde planet is close to earth so brings maximum energy.
Saturn is planet of karma and discipline. Saturn retrograde in Pisces forces us to look inwards. You may feel like isolating during this time. It’s a time to let go of things, creating endings. In Pisces, the last sign in the zodiac, brings a deep karmic influence. It brings events from the past back into our life, unfinished business, to deal with. It offers a second chance to complete karmic duty. It forces a maturity to rethink your life.
This will impact spirituality and mental health and bring breakthroughs. Humanitarian projects to help the world.
July 16-August 17: Sun Transits into Cancer
This is a time to nurture yourself and your loved ones.
July 20: Mars & Ketu Exact Conjunction in Leo in Nakstatra Purva Phaguni
This is considered a very intense time which can bring war, violence, and terrorism. This may spark a global conflict and unexpected situations across the world.
On September 11, Mars was Conjunct Ketu in Sagittarius in Nakshatra Moola.
July 18-August 11: Mercury Retrograde in Cancer
Cancer is the sign of protection and family. This could bring potential miscommunications with friends and families. This may cause confusion particularly around communications and travel. Time for reflection, review and careful attention to detail.
July 24: New Moon in Cancer and YOD
This New Moon is at 7 degrees Cancer and opposed Pluto with Saturn and Neptune. Very powerful energy as Pluto is nuclear energy and brings the risk of destruction and war. A YOD is the Finger of God– which can bring fated events. Pluto is nuclear power
For the month of July, remember to slow down, drive carefully, get sleep, eat nutritiously, practice meditation and yoga. Spend time in nature. Listen to music you enjoy. All of this will help with the intensity of July.
